LexibooAgreement
These terms apply to the Lexiboo app, made by André Marcos Silva Boyd, Spain. By creating an account or using the app you accept them, together with Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If something here conflicts with Apple's agreement on how the App Store works, Apple's agreement applies.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details safe; you are responsible for what happens in your account. You can delete your account at any time in Profile & Settings → Delete account and data.
Free plan and Premium
- The free plan keeps up to 20 saved words at a time and includes a limited number of AI word lookups.
- Premium is an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly, sold through the App Store. The price and any free trial are shown before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel it in iPhone Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Premium stays active until the end of the period already paid.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its own rules.
- Deleting your Lexiboo account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Cancel it with Apple too.
AI meanings
Some meanings, translations and examples are written by AI and checked automatically. They can still contain mistakes. Use Lexiboo as a learning aid, not as an authoritative dictionary, and edit any meaning you disagree with.
Your content
The words, notes and edits you add are yours. You let us store and process them only to run Lexiboo for you, for example to back them up and sync them between your devices. Don't add content that is illegal or that you don't have the right to use.
Fair use
Don't try to break, overload or reverse-engineer Lexiboo or its servers, get around plan limits, or use automated tools to extract its content. We may suspend accounts that do.
Third-party content
Lexiboo's offline dictionary includes data from Wiktionary, available under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license (CC BY-SA).
Liability
We work to keep Lexiboo reliable and your data safe, but the app is provided as it is, without guarantees that it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms; we will change the date above and tell you in the app about important changes. You can stop using Lexiboo at any time. These terms are governed by Spanish law, without removing the protection of the consumer laws of the country you live in.
